I used to be someone that would let mess pile up and then do a marathon cleaning. If I'm being honest, that still happens occasionally in our house when someone is ill or if my husband is out of town for a conference. But, it's really stressful and unpleasant (for me) to spend an entire day cleaning. Some people enjoy cleaning and could do it all day. That is just not me. It's too overwhelming for me to tackle large cleaning/organization projects at one time (which I write about in my previous blog for this series). Therefore, I try to spread it out and shoot for 3 weekly chores a day.
You may come up with your own list of weekly chores or use this free printable version of my list! This is based off of what works for my family and my own personal preferences; so, depending on your own lifestyle and schedule, feel free to adjust accordingly. My husband and I share many chores in our household, and our son will have his own set of household responsibilities that will change as he matures in age.
This page is located directly after my Daily Task List in my Household Binder.
